Brass Camlock
Brass camlock coupling, made of 100% virgin materials, have excellent corrosive resistance against water, hydraulic oil, coolants, gasoline and petroleum products.
General Information
Coupling body: Brass
Handles & pins: Brass
MOQ: 600pcs
Thread: NPT, BSP, BST & NPSM available
Working temperature: -150°F to +450°F (-101°C to + 232°C)
Working pressure: doesn’t surpass 250 psi at ambient temperature
Generally speaking, the usual working temperature for brass couplings is rated from -150°F to +450°F. Always make sure the gasket material is compatible with the media.
Brass camlock fittings comes into Type A, B, C, D, E, F, DC & DP with sizes ranging from 1/2″ to 8″. They are manufactured according to MIL-C-27487 (A-A-59326).
Brass Camlock adapter type A
Size: 1/2″ to 8″
Thread: NPT/BSPT/BSPP
Manufacture method: gravity casting
Type A camlock adapters are normally used with Type D couplers, while Type B & C couplers as well as Dust Cap (Type DC) of the same size are available.
Aluminum cam and groove adapters are manufactured by A-A-59326 (superseding MIL-C-27487F) or DIN 2828 and comes from 1/2″ to 8″. They are interchangeable with other related products produced by the standard except 5″ and 8″.
Brass Camlock coupler type B
Handle and finger rings: Brass
Fabrication method: gravity casting
Size: 1/2″ to 8″
Thread: NPT, BSP, BSPP
Type B Brass Camlock coupler is normally used with Type F adapter, sometimes Type A & E and DP (Dust Plug) of identical size.
Aluminum cam and groove couplings make the hose connect/disconnect in a snap and eliminate complicated operation of thread and flange.
You just insert the male adapter into the female coupler until contact is made with the gasket. Then press down the arms to produce a uniform gasket compression.
Aluminum cam & groove coupler type C
Handle and rings: stainless stee
Gaskets: PTFE, viton, EPDM, silicone or as required
Working pressure: less than 250psi
Temperature: -150°F to +250°F (-101°C to 121°C)
Type C Brass Camlock fitting couplers are often found cooperating with Type E adapters but also be used with Type A, F as well as DP of the same size.
The biggest feature of quick hose camlock fitting lies in its high efficiency and safety.
Brass Camlock adapter type D
Handles & rings: Brass
Size: 1/2″ to 8″
Standard: MIL-C-27487/ISO A-A-59326
Type D cam & groove couplers are often used with Type A adapters, and sometimes be used with Type E & F and Type DP (Dust Plug) of the same size.
Type D Brass Camlock coupler ranges from 1/2″ to 8″ according to MIL-C-27487/ISO A-A-59326.
Brass Camlock adapter type E
Type E Brass Camlock adapters are often used with Type C, B, D & DC (Dust Cap) of identical size.
Camlock couplings comprises of two parts – adapter and coupler. Insert the adapter into coupler of the same size and put down the cam arms, then sealing is finished.
Brass Camlock adapter type F
Handles rings: available in Brass or brass
Standard thread: NPT, BSPP and BSPT
Gaskets: PTFE, Viton, EPDM or as required
Aluminum Type F adapters are normally used with Type B, C, D or DC couplers with the same size. Brass Camlock Coupling have good abrasion resistance and fair corrosion and chemical resistance.
Brass Camlock dust cap type DC
Handles rings: available in Brass or brass
Gaskets: PTFE, Viton, EPDM or as required
Type DC Brass Camlock couplers are used with type A, E and F adapters to seal the end of the connection.
Brass Camlock adapter type DP
Size: 1/2″ to 8″
Thread: NPT/BSPT/BSPP
Manufacture method: gravity casting
Type DP Aluminum cam & groove male adapter is used to plug into the female coupler such as Type B, C and D couplers.
Brass Camlock Fittings Application
Agriculture and irrigation systems: In agriculture, Camlock coupling brass play a vital role in irrigation systems, pumps and other agricultural applications. Their versatility and ease of use make them a popular choice for farmers and gardeners.
Construction and maintenance projects: Camlock coupling brasss are essential in applications such as drainage, water supply and equipment maintenance at construction sites. Their durability and quick connect capabilities simplify hose connections in harsh construction environments.
Industrial applications: Camlock coupling brasss are used in a wide range of industrial environments, including chemical plants, refineries and manufacturing facilities. They provide reliable connections for fluid transfer, ensuring efficient operation and minimizing the risk of leaks.
Fluid transfer and transportation: Whether you’re transferring water, chemicals or fuel, Brass camlocks fittings provide a safe and efficient solution. They are commonly used in tanker trucks, fuel delivery systems and fluid transport applications.
Choosing the right brass camlock fitting
When selecting a brass camlock fitting, consider the following:
– Size and type: Select the appropriate size and type (A, B, C, D, etc.) for your specific application and flow requirements.
– Material compatibility: Ensure compatibility with the fluid being conveyed to prevent corrosion or contamination.
– Pressure rating: Select a coupling that meets or exceeds the maximum working pressure of your system to ensure safety and performance.
– Environmental conditions: Consider factors that may affect coupling performance, such as temperature fluctuations and exposure to chemicals or UV light.
